MISHOP holds lecture/symposium sessions on international understanding as opportunities to learn and think about the history and culture of countries around the world. The speaker for this lecture is Mr. Frederic Toutlemonde, president and editor-in-chief of the first European manga magazine in Japan, “Euromanga.”

◆Mr. Frederic Toutlemonde
Was born in Les Lilas near Paris in 1978, visited Japan in 1999 for the
first time, and has been living in this country since 2003. Currently Mr. Toutlemonde works at the French Embassy, while presiding over “Euromanga” and chairing the Executive Committee of the International Manga Festa.
